Hi,I am planning to visit Guilin, Longsheng and Yangshuo in Mid-Nov 2010. We will be staying for 7-8 days. Would like some information on hiring a van for our group and cheap accommodation, guest houses is fine with us and the estimate costs.Thanks

It costs about rmb300-400 per day if hiring  a van within the specific city or county. I mean, it may cost more if you will go  a long distance. There are many guest houses and hotels in this area. No worry about it. A 3 star level hotel costs about rmb200 per day and the guest house in Longsheng costs less than rmb100 per day.
