HI, I will be visiting Shanghai on the 17th and plan to visit Suzhou. I plan to go there by train and do I need to book tickets in advance? How long is the train ride?

You can take D-trains from Shanghai to Suzhou, you don't need to buy ticket in advance since there is one train in almost every twenty minutes. The train runs for around 30 minutes.

Hi, you can take G-train from Shanghai to Suzhou. You need not to book ticket in advance and it takes about 25-30 minutes.
