About:China Tourist Visa

Greetings!
My husband and I had planned to visit Beijing as tourist this December 2010 (only for 2 nights and 3 days)-, it is our first visit to China. what documents will be needed to apply for a visa? Is a bank statement necessary?

Yes, a bank statement is necessary, the below document are required to submit for first-time applicants:
1. passport
2 passport photo, visa application form
3. A copy of the round-trip plane ticket
4. Hotel Reservation
5. NBI
6. bank certificate
7. for employed persons, also provide an employment certificate, company ID, SSS ID and contributions, TIN ID and latest ITR
