Thanks for your info Ms. Monica. Can my mother apply for the L visa on China or she needs to apply it here in the Phils? Can my mother get a tourist visa first then change her tourist visa to L visa when she arrived in China?

Your mother needs to apply for Dependant Visa in Philippines, she also needs to provide a Physical Examination Certificate for Foreign Citizen, if she applies for 1 year multiple-entry L visa, she has to exit China when the stay duration per entry expires, she had better apply for Dependant Visa, then change it into Temporary Residence Permit, she can stay with you in China as long as you work in China.

Yes, your mother can apply for a dependant visa.
She can apply for a L visa for visiting family , maybe it is 1 year or 6 months.
You should prepare your passport, residence certificate, working permit, relationship certificate. Your mother should prepare photo, passport, ticket.
