About:Baggage Allowance for Chinese Domestic Flights

Hi, I'd like to take a small packet of rice, and some spices to China for personal use. Can I pack it into my checked in luggage? I am going to pack the rice on my own, just about 500gms to 1kgs.

You need to declare it, tax rate is 10% if I remember right.

Why on earth would you want to take rice and spices to china? Whatever next???? isn't there enough in China for you? The rice is supreme and the spices and chillies are wonderful> Whatever next!
