About:Adopt Chinese Children

As someone who is 5 years into the process, I can tell you that your timelines are very inaccurate. 14 months is very outdated info.

I think 14 months are official date and a utopian number. As I know, there are some measurs taken by the government to shorten the process into 14 months, but in practice, 2.5 years is an average one. It is in deed a long and complicated process, but 5 years is too long I think. Is there any problems on some documents or?

Also, the fees you have listed are much lower than what they really are. We are preparing to travel to China after waiting five years. Travel and orphanage donation alone is going to cost around $18,000. Please be more realistic with the fees. The $18,000 does not include the agency fees, and all that is needed to compile dossier, USCIS paperwork and Visas. It's better that people know what they are getting into to make sure they are prepared.
