If all of you hold UAE passport, then you are not required visa to Hong Kong for 30 days. For Carton Fair in Zhuhai, you can apply for a Zhuhai visa at port when you arrive. It allows you to live there for 5 days. But if you want to visit other cities in China, you are required to apply for a China visa in advance.

Hi thanks for your reply ms.hebe. :) however, we are having a multi-entry visa for our (business) trip to china as well as to our managing director who is iranian. just wondering if do we have to apply a separate visa for him to HK or how we can get a permit to HK for our smooth entry. any idea?

Yes, your Iranian managing director needs to apply for a visa to Hong Kong because Iranian nationals always need a visa to Hong Kong (except except in direct transit by air and when the person does not leave the airport transit area)

The multiple-entry China visa is used to enter Mainland China rather than Hong Kong, Hong Kong apples different exit & enter controls from Mainland China. UAE nationals don't need a visa to Hong Kong for up to 30 days
