About:Chinese Embassy in Switzerland

Hello,I am from Nepal.I am currently studying in Switzerland.I wanted to get a Chinese tourist visa for December for a month.What is an invitation letter and who do i get it from? Do i need one even if i am traveling as a tourist.What if i cannot get an invitation letter will that make any difference to the visa application process.Please somebody help me out.In need to answers.

Yes, You are required to provide this letter even as a tourist. If you can not provide it, possibly you can not be granted a visa to China. For this letter, you can contact your relatives/friends who live/work in China if any. Or you can find for a tour agency like this travelchinaguide, they can send you an invitaion letter for your visa application.
