Hello, need to go next week from Hong Kong to Houjie. Can I use a ferry from kowloon (not in transit from the International airport) to Shatian port or Humen and then take a cab to Houjie? Is it expensive, is there any other way (airplane, bus, train, or ferry) to get there and return to Hong Kong the next day? regards,Gracia T

You have no need to take ferry to Shatian. There are direct bus from Kowloon to Houjie every day. It starts earlier in the morning from 07:50 to 08:45 from Kowloon. You can take it at Portland Street Prince Edward CTS or Kwun Tong Mut Wah Street.
