About:Taiwan Weather

Hi. I will be going to Taipei on 6-10 Oct. Will it be rainy and cold? (still typhoon?) What clothes should I bring? Thanks.

Hi, it seldom rains in October.The temperature will be about 23 to 27C, thus it is not cold. There may be tuphoon, so you'd better pay attention to the local weather forecast. You can wear wummer clothes and bring one jacket.

Whoever wrote that Taiwan summers are not hot is sorrily misinformed. It is rarely under 35 degrees Celsius here in summer (over 100 F). It is late September now and yesterday was 34 in Taipei, typically the coolest part of Taiwan as it is in the northernmost part of the country. Temperatures in July and August are often OVER 35, with one day here soaring to 38.7!

The grossly wrong information on this here makes me wonder how much research they really do.
