for a business trip to china, i have received invitation letter from the chinese company

For A Business Trip to China, I have received Invitation Letter from the Chinese Company I am Visiting. Do I need letter of recommendation from any other Chinese authority in addition?Can I apply directly to Consulate in Mumbai or do I need to go through Visa Application Center Only? I am Stationed in Ahmedabad.

It is enough, but you need a Covering letter from your company or office with the details of the visiting purpose to China. You can go through China Visa Application Service Center directly for your visa application. Be aware that you need to to make an online appointment.
