About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

We have single entry visas into China. We fly to Guilin first. Now we are considering taking a trip to Hong Kong for a couple of days. Would we need another visa to get back to Guilin?

Yes, if you used the entry to enter China already, you need to apply a new one to re-enter again. Leaving for Hong Kong means you exit mainland China. You can apply for a new visa in Hong Kong, the general processing time is 4 working days.

There is another option. If you hold the tourist visa, you can extend it in the Guilin PSb with single entry. Then you can take it to hongkong, then come to China again. It is not neccessary for you to apply for a new L visa, for more information cbout visa, you can tell me.
