About:Hainan Travel

The family and I are planning to visit our ancestral home/village," Chengmei village " in Wenchang district, for the first time. We would be pleased if someone would give us the necessary info and tips to locate this village 成梅村 . Our family the Too/Zhu 朱 originated from this village. Thanking you in advance for your help.

Hi, do you have any specific information like location of this village, since there seems no Chengmei Village in Hainan, Wenchang City now.

Hi Celiana, In 1991 a fellow clansman in Hainan wrote to my late uncle, that Wenchang was 4km from this village and situated south-east of Wenchang District. We have a very sketchy plan/map of Chengmei village dated 1991 and there were about 150 inhabitants.
We would be grateful if you could let us know who to contact should the village no longer exist. Thank you
