I am attending a wedding dinner in HK on Jan 2 2011.  From HK, I wld like to visit China so I would appreciate your advice on which city is best for visitin in January.  I read that the best time to visit China is from Mar - November - so January does not seem an ideal time to visit China.  Appreciate any advice you can offer on visiting China in anuary.

March to Nov is the best time to visit China is because the weather is good. Jan is cold in most parts of China. I think you can visit southern China cities like Shenzhen, Sanya or Guilin, where is comparatively warmer.
