About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

I am seeking an English teaching position but was told by one company that Chinese work permit/temporary resident permit requirements had an age limit of 55. Is this true?

Yes, it is true, generally speaking, the foreigner working in China should not be more than 60 years old. The age limit for the China work permit/temporary residence permit is 55
