Hi, I am planning to bring my family including my 3 year old son to Beijing this mid October. we will be going by tour to Juyongguan and all the other attractions in Beijing. How is the weather there? Will we need to wear layers of clothes like during winter or just a t-shirt and sweater. Is glove, scarf, hat and thermal wear neccesary ?What must we prepare if we are going to Juyongguan great wall?  Thanks.

No need to bring glove, scarf or stuff like that. Bring long-sleeve t-shirt and a thick coat. It will be colder on the walls, so bring a thin sweater, just in case. Mid october is autumn in Beijing, not winter.
