Yuan was the first dynasty that built and reigned by Ethnic minorty, not only over all the mainland China, but to west Asia. Monglians are brave and skillful in warfare. Foreign trade exchange was busy in this period. This is such a strong era standing out of other regimes in Chinese History mainly established by Han Dynasty, but since Yuan Dynasty is formally set up, it only last nearly one hundred years.8
