About:Marriage Registration in China

Hi,

I'm a Malaysian living in Australia with my Chinese girlfriend. We would like to register our marriage in China. I am still a Malaysian citizen, and she still holds her Chinese passport and Hukou. I know I need a certificate of eligibility, however I need to know if this has to come from Australia, or from Malaysia?

Thanks.

You need to apply the single status certificate in Malaysia. Then, to get it authenticated in department of foreign affairs and trade. at last, you need to get it certified by Chinese embassy in malaysia. With this, you can get marriage registration in China.
