About:China Customs Declaration

Hello, My husband works in Shenzhen for a good part of the year and misses Marmite. Is it OK to bring that in or does it count as a liquid? Is it permitted? Thanks for any help.

It is permitted and can be count as liquid, so do not bring too much. Geneerally 1.5L is ok!

I smioe when I see these types of emails as it remenids me when I first went to China many many years ago and I vegemite from Austalia with me.
One of the security guys asked me to open the jar which I did and they tasted it and the look on their face! They immediately closed the jar and gave it back tio me. They called me Bung de (stupid). I take usually 2 - 3 ML through now no problem.
As you probably know Vegemite is the superior of Marmite much more stronger.
Enjoy! Hey why not tke him some jars yourself personally and share together as Shenzhen is a nice place to see.
