About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Hi,

My Chinese Visa reads: Enter Before 14OCT2010

I just want to make sure that it is still valid if I fly in on Oct 13. Also, what is the procedure to extend the duration of stay?

Thanks!

It's great to know that my visa is still valid. I have one more question: can I fly within china or do I need to renew my first?

Sure, you can fly within China, no nee to renew it. But before the duration expires and if you want extend your visa for longer time, you can submit your application to the local PSB. Generally, the tourist visa can be extended twice.

Validity shown as "enter before" on visa refers to the time limit of visa. Visa holders must use the visa to enter mainland of China before 24:00 on the exact day of expiration. For visa extension, you should apply at the exit & enter department of local public security authorities before visa expires (a week early is better).
