how long would it take to hike from jiankou to mutianyu?

How long would it take to hike from Jiankou to Mutianyu? I do have some experience in dangerous hikes. Speed is average. Im planning to go on Oct 3 or 4. What time should i start?

About 15km's hiking and if you start hiking at 9am in the morning, you can get to Mutianyu at 5pm. If you do not want stay one night in the village, you have to hire a taxi or van. Perhaps the same one that sends you to Jiankou and waiting for you at Mutianyu side in the afternoon.
