I have purchased hard seat tickets. Can I upgrade to a soft sleeper even though I already bought them? If so, how could I do this?thanks!

You could buy one soft sleeper by paying the price difference on the train. And it depends on the availability of the soft sleepers at that time. Or, you could buy a new soft sleeper ticket at the train stations first and cancel your current hard seat ticket before train’s departure.
