About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

I'm a Malaysian residing in China on valid work permit. I'm intending to setup a WFOE (consulting, sole proprietorship ) in Beijing. I heard differently from different sources. Some told me the copies of my passport MUST be authenticated at the China Embassy in KL and NOT any authorized notorized company in Beijing and vice versa. Can anyone verify this? I'm going home for a holiday, but, someone mentioned in this website that the Chinese Embassy in KL might be closed from 22 sep for 2 weeks. In this case, I'm unable to have it done.

Yes, your passport must be authenticated at the China embassy in KL. but about the holiday, I never saw such announcement in their web. Generally, the holiday for Mid-Autumn Day is Sept.22-24. National Holiday is from Oct.1-7.
