About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

Can I apply the "Z" visa in colombo while on holiday there during first week of October 2010. My intented employer will send me all approved work permits/documents to support the application. Pls advise, tks.
Pls also advise the dates the China embassy is closed for the holiday in October 2010.

If you are temporary visitor to Sri Lanka, you can not apply for a Z visa to China there. you are required to apply in Philippine. Generally, Chinese embassy will be cloaed from Oct. 1 to Oct 7. But it may differ in places. Some may close from Oct 1 to Oct 5.
