About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Dear Sir,

I am in China on my F visa validity 180 Day Multiple entry, but each 30 days I have to go back, in this case I am here for more than 30 days, I heard from some agency, if I go to Hong Kong and come back to Main land, then there is no porblem.

Please advice me for further, can I go to Hong Kong and come back to China, will it works or I have to go back to my country to re-enter.

Thanks and regards,
Emmanuel Cox

Dear Mr. Johnnash,

Thanks a tons, can you also give me your advice as my 30 days is over on 5th September, and I called a local agent they informed me that 10- days are free as for the 1st time and for another 3-4 days you have to pay RMB50/per day as a fine to immigration., I was very busy with my work and when checked my visa I come to know really it happend with me.

Please advice, if I can pay them 1st then go to Hong Kong or 1st I go to Hong Kong then pay the fine.

Best regards,

yes, you can go to Hong Kong and come back to China for another 30 days stay duration per entry. Hong Kong and Mainland China apply different enter and exit controls, go to Hong Kong means exit Mainland China, then return to Mainland China means a new entry to Mainland China.

You should pay for the fine for overstay first, then go to Hong Kong.
