About:Chinese Holidays

Hello,
My husband is going to China on the 18th of September. He didn't know about the holidays on the 22nd to the 24th of September. Are any businesses open on these dates or does everything close? He's a little annoyed that his travel agent didn't tell him about this. Thank you
Amanda

I'm not 100% sure about all areas of China, but from my experience I have found that most businesses rarely close (with Chinese new year being the exception) I think your husband should be fine with Mid Autumn. Perhaps some businesses will close a little earlier for family dinners in the evening, etc - but I would hazard a guess that most things will be open.
