About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Hi, I am a Malaysian with China multiple entry visa for 2 years. At the end of this month (30th Sept), I am planning to get married to my chinese girlfriend in Hunan.
I will be travelling to Changsha to get register. However, to my knowledge 1st Oct is a China national public holiday. I have been told that there is a possibility that the register office in Changsha may not open all day on the 30th Sept. Could someone please confirm this to me, and do I need to book for registration. Thanks in advance for any response.

Here is the tel for Shangsha Civil Affairs Bureau: 0731-4442852. Generally, The National Day holiday starts from Oct.1st. And there is no booking required for marriage registration.
