hii, i m indonesian, i m going to china through hongkong this 7th november 2010 with a small group of 14 people. we plan to stay about 25 days in china. i will be thankfull to get a suggestion from u guys where to start and end the trip and what is the nicest place to go. before u give a suggestion, there are some place that i think may be good to go ( gui lin, tibet, macau, shenzen, bei jing, el mei san, xian, xiamen. we plan to stay for 3 days in xiamen because we want to pray our ancestor. and 1 more question is about the travel agency. where to book a cheaper trip (at hongkong or shenzen ). and can we just make our own private trip of 14 people.

Hi, welcome back home! My suggestion is: HongKong-Macau-Shenzhen-Xiamen-Beijing- Guilin-XiAn-Chengdu-Tibet. Personally I don’t think there’s much to see in Hongkong, Macau and Shenzhen, Hongkong is a good place for shopping though^^ you can spend 3-4 days in these 3 and save your time for the others. Xiamen is famous for its beautiful beach, but since you have Bali in Indonesia, you probably want to see something more special. Besides the places you have mentioned, I would love to recommend one more place to visit: Shangri-La in Yunnan Province, it’s a paradise!One more thing, November is autumn in China, it can be very cool in some places, long-sleeves clothes will be necessary. :)

For Miss bunny, i wanna ask about the budget. as u mention to me thr trip that ended in chengdu, do you know how much it cost for 1 person? and are the group in only 14 of us? from where we start the trip(is hk)? can u help us to make for the trip?
