About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Thanks so much for the fast reply. (background-im a chinses citizen,my daughter was born in Thailand. my husband and daughter is Filipino,we re currently living in Thailand)
One more question:
I m gonna apply for a family visit (L)VISA or residence permit from PR.CHINA embassy in bangkok,Thailand for my daughter. Thus,i need offer marriage certificate and birth certificate given by Thailand,right? DO i need translate those documetns in Chinese??Besides,do i HAVE to offer my Chinese ID to PR CHINA embassy in bangkok Thailand?

You can apply for your daughter a tourist/family visit visa to enter China first. And apply the longer visa or residence permit when you are in China. All the documents are required to be translated into Chinese, and possibly certified by related department. This article is for foreigners applying visa/residence permit in China.
