About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Hi!!
I am going to Singapore in december but most of the airlines have a connection in Shanghai... do i need to get a transit visa?

You will be exempt from going through the procedures for obtaining a transit visa if you hold a through ticket and have booked seats on international airliners flying directly through China, and will stay in a transit city for less than 24 hours without leaving the airport.
