About:Chengdu Weather

hi,

we'll be going there on January 2011..what would be the weather on that time?is it safe to travel on china that time?when is the snow period?

The temperature would be below 10 celsius, the snow period is from Nov. to Dec. but is barely snows in Chengdu.

Yes, its cold and rains sometimes. Is it safe? yes, just look out for some people that like to pick pocket, in buses or other crowded places. If you are there for Chinese New Years, all public transportation will be too crowded, also. (Feb.3)So watch out for your wallets. Good luck.
