I have lived in Japan for two years and have another year left on my working visa for Japan. What kind of visa do I need to go to China in November?

You need to provide your passport, a passport photo, an application form, hotel reservation in China and return ticket, possibly your travel itinerary, your residence permit in Japan and its photocopy. The general processing time is 4 working days.

So do I need to get a tourist visa for China if I am a current resident of Japan? My passport is Canadian.
