About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

hello
my wife is in china, and I have a canadian passport, any know how many days or what is maximum months I can stay in china. Can My wife help me to extend my staying in china if china embassy only allow to give me staying for only 3 months? thanks

Mr.Hendry, you can try to apply for a multi-entry 6 months family visit/tourist visa (L visa). Generally, the L visa can be extended twice within China.
