Sorry if double post (the first one seems to disappear)

I am planning to visit Longmen Grottoes and Shaolin Temple in one day. If I take bullet train from Xi'an and get off at the Longmen station, what is the best way for me to head to Shaolin Temple from Longmen? After Shaolin is it better to head to Zhengzhou (by bus) to catch train to Shanghai or should I head back to Luoyang and spend the night there? Can anyone tell me the bus serving Shaolin Temple to Zhengzhou? Thanks!
