Hi I will be visiting shanghai oct 17-26 then hong kong from 26-29th. can someone please tell me how much a taxi will cost from pudong airport into shanghai to marriott hotel changfeng park? and also the taxi fare from shanghai town to pudong airport, is it better to stay at a hotel that offers airport shuttle? any suggestions on a hotel in shanghai close to the markets, food restaurants and fashion malls.. cheap clothing places.im also looking for a good hotel in hongkong wanting to hit wholesale markets there but close to everything, any suggestions?

If you get into a taxi and they refuse to use the meter or they give you a flat fee for your destination, immediately get out of the taxi.  These are unregulated taxis and they will charge you an exhorbitant price.
