Does anyone know if china eastern sell business class upgrades from jfk to shanghai flight at check in counter on the same day of flight.Also, is it true that the economy class seats have footstools?

As I know, China Eastern Airlines does sell upgraded Business Class tickets from New York (John F. Kennedy International Airport) to Shanghai. And they have adjusted the seat space between rows in the economy class. Footstools are also available on some flights. For sure, you could consult the booking agencies in New York when you buy the tickets.
