hi,i also want to know
1)weather in shanghai in october - summer,winter
2) kindly advise on the type of clothes i should take along depending upon the weather

It is still summer but the weather would be a little cold in early morning and evening. You can bring you some T-shirts, summer clothes, and a thin coat, that would be enough.
