About:China Embassy in Thailand

I am french and I live in thailand. I need to get a tourist visa at the ambassy of china in bangkok. You are speaking about a residence permit. Can I ask you what is exactly a residence permit and where I can get it? Thank you.

Residence permit is issued to foreigners who work there in Thailand. If you are visiting there as a temporary visitor, you are not eligible to apply for it. It is a fact that Chinese embassy in many countries do not issue visas to temporary visitors.
