About:Chinese Embassy in Brazil

Hello

I have a resident visa here in mainland China where I work. I am married in Brazil. I understand for my wife to obtain residence visa I need to submit our marriage certificate translated to Chinese and English to the Chinese embassy in Brazil for authentification. Do I need to fill out a form as well? Whatelse do I need to submit to the chinese embassy in Brazil? Where can I get the proper form?

So, if I am on a 3-year contract with my current employer in China, what will be my wife's status? She is not coming to China to visit but to live with me. What is this "family visit visa" you mentioned and what is its purpose em validity?

She an apply for a dependent visa to China that accompany your work visa. The requirements she nees to provide to the Chinese embassy are as follows:
1. Proof of relationship - original marriage contract (it should be translated into Chinese and be certified by related consulator).
2. An original Visa Notification issued by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
3. Copy of your valid residence visa, working visa, working card and passport information page.

Your wife can apply for a family visit visa but not a residence visa. But you still need to get your marriage certificate translated into Chinese and English and authentificated at Chinese embassy. You need to fill out an authentification form(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/pdf/notarization-application-form.pdf) .

Thanks for your information, but I was only inquiring the documentation needed to be sent to the chinese embassy in Brazil. Every other piece of information I already have. If you have extra info regarding papers which need to be sent to Brazil I appreciate.

Besides the documents listed by mr.Enid, your wife also need to submit the below documents to Chinese embassy in Brazil, her passport, one completed visa application form, one passport photo affixed on the form, the photocopy of her passport.
