About:Dual Nationality

Hi, I want to marry with my Chinese Girl Friend. So after that can i stay in China with her and can i get Chinese citizenship?

You need to have residence permit and then apply for join in as a Chinese citizen, which means you will give ip Indian citizenship.

Glad to receive your helpful reply. But i don't want to loose my Indian citizenship. So can i stay in China only with resident permit as long i want with her.

It means i'll not loose my Indian citizenship and i also can get Chinese permanent residence permit. Am i right ? Will you suggest me something else about Chinese marriage before i do it. ?

It is possible for you to apply for China Permanent Residence Permit if your marriage with a Chinese woman lasts for at least 5 years and you have house and job in China, however, as I know, even though you satisfy the condition, it is still very hard for you to get the China Permanent Residence Permit. It is almost impossible for you to get a Chinese citizenship no matter you give up your Indian citizenship or not.
