About:Yushan National Park

Hi,
My name is Amir. I would like to know more on Yushan Mountain since my colleague is planning to go there.
1. Is it under national park and should we pay any cost?

Yes, it is under national park but no admission fee. However,if you want to climb the mountain, need to have permit and guide. It will cost some money. Cing Jing farm is very good place just at the mountain foot of Yushan. You can go there too.

Ok tq, anyway do you know what will be the permit and guide cost...it will be very usefull since we are planning to visit Taiwan later.. thanks

It will be different based on the tour guide. I think you'd better hire a professional high mountain guide. I googled and found that it is about TWD3,500 per day. Not sure is that true or not.
