Could you suggest a 2 day trip to Emei and Leshan Giant Buddha from Chengdu and how to do that. We are flying to Chengdu next October and this is our first visit. Thank you.

Take direct bus from Chengdu Xinnanmen Coach Station to leshan in the morning and see the Buddha. Late in the afternoon, go to Emeishan. Stay one night there and go to the mountain next day. Then back to Chengdu in the afternoon.

Thank for your information. I am wondering if the bus from Chengdu Xinnanmen go directly to Leshan Big Buddha site and back to Chengdu from there. Same question as for Emei Shan from Leshan and Chengdu. Thanks

No, the bus goes to bus stations in Leshan, but not the Big Buddha. When you buy ticket, show the clerk that you want one ticket to 乐山肖坝车站. Get off at this bus station and then take city bus 13 to the buddha, or take taxi, about CNY20.
