We are visiting Guangdong in Oct. We want to travel from there to shanghai, Beijing & Xian by train. Please help us to plan our travel

After Guangzhou, you could travel to Shanghai first, then Beijing and Xian. About the train info., you could check on the website. For the tickets reservation, you can make online bookings.

Hi, could you tell me if it's possible to hop in and out wherever i like? I want to visit Xian for example. Do I need then a new ticket if i leave the train T164?

You could take the train T164 to Xian from Shanghai. However, after Xian if you’d like to visit Beijing, you need to buy another train tickets from Xian to Beijing.
