About 560km, 8 or 9 hours by bus. 11-12 hours by train.

thanks for the information.

we are facing the problem that where should be arrive first, Guilin or guang zhou?
Basically whats the best accommodation in Guilin or GZ? as we are really short in budget and hope the route can save lots

Hi ,you can take a train to Guilin. costs less then 50USD.it is 40+sth,

Where are you leaving for Guilin and Guangzhou? As to Guangzhou hotels for the Canton Fair, many hotels provide nice service. You can check it out in TavelChinaGuide. I recommend some hotels in Guilin, Guilin Oslanthus Hotel or Eva Inn Guilin.
