You are required to pay fine about RMB 5,000 for overstay. You can not renew your visa cos it already expired. What you can do is to leave China first and then apply for a new student visa to China. it it worthwhile to find you a powerful visa agency there if you do not want to leave China.

thanks Mr.Cody,
but can I just apply the student visa here? some people said that I can apply tourist visa here and after I've registered the university I can convert it to student visa. is it really possible that way? I mean I'd like to do the visa without leaving China, because I don't think I have that much time.
