About:Visa Policy of China

Hello, I wonder if anyone can assist me please, no doubt this question has been asked before, I apologise in advance.
My son married a Chinese national (in China) they now have a baby, my son has registered the child as a UK national and will getting the British passport soon.
My question is regarding my grandaughter, I have been readng she requires an exit visa to visit the UK but how does she get back into China? My son and his wife have no intention of living in the UK permanently at the moment, my son is a teacher in China and has a visa to live there.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Many Thanks

For your granddaughter, with her UK passport, she can enter China with an L(tourist)visa, during the validity of this visa, she can apply for a longer visa or a resident permit valid for one or even two years. For detail information, please read on the New Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family living in China(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/family-visit-permit.htm) .
