About:Bao'en Temple Pagoda

hi ! my name is carla. i am here at shanghai china since august 22, 2010 i am applying for a job here. the company called me that they can`t process the working visa for me now. is there any age limit in getting a chinese working visa? because i am 18 only, they say the age limit in getting a working visa is 24. is it true?. i really need an answer. i currently have a tourist (L) visa valid until septmber 22 2010.

Yes, it is true, foreigners over 24 are allowed to work in China.

so it means that even if they hire me ., they cannot give me a working visa because im only 18?

yes, a work permit is required for China work visa application, the basic condition for getting a China work permit is
1. have a bachelor degree
2. have 2 years working experience after graduation.
