About:Huangshan Travel

Hi!

My husband and I will be in Shanghai next week and we are thinking to spend 2 nights in Huangshan.

We will either go from Hangzhou or Shanghai to Huangshan. I have few questions and appreciate if you can answer them. :)

1)How can we get there? what are the charges and journey duration?
2)Any recommended hotels on the summit which allow us to catch good sunrise or sunset, scenery etc? Do you suggest we spend 2 nights on the summit or 1 night in town and 1 night at summit?
3) Are there hot springs to go for relaxation?
4)What are the charges for entrance fees to huangshan scenic areas (if any) and for the cable car ride? What are the opening hours?

Many thanks :)

1. You can take long distance bus at Shanghai South Bus Station, there are four buses daily go to Huangshan, at 06:38, 07:58, 10:12 and 14:05. It costs CNY124-132 per person, the bus takes around 6.5 hours to reach the destination.
2. Pai Yun Lou Hotel is good.
3. Yes, there are hot springs , that's one of the four best in Huangshan scenic area.
4. It is CNY230 per ticket for Huangshan, CNY80 per ticket for a single journey of the cable car.
