Can I buy ticket from Guangzhou to Shenzhen 30 minutes before departure of train? Is the train going from Guangzhou to Shenzhen always full?

You would better buy the tickets in advance, like several days before traveling. And usually the staffs at the ticket barrier begin to punch tickets around 30 mins before trains’ departure.
