If i want to save the cost by taking the cable car, any other way to go to the big buddha? if must take the cable car ,hong long will it take for the whole journey inculing visitthe big buddha & the monkey tale?

Surely there is another option other than the cable car, you can take Bus 23 to Ngong Ping which costs around HKD20. The bus takes around 50 minutes to Ngong Ping, so I think if from Tung Chung, half a day would be enough for the places you mentioned and the bus journey.
